Nuview Bridge Early College High School Students Trounce Competitors

For the fourth year in a row NBECHS ‘s scores on the state standardized tests (CST) are among the highest in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties and exceeded the state of California average by 20-35 points.  NBECHS compared well to even the most affluent communities, outperforming most and only narrowly missing the top spot in both 9th and 10th grade testing by one point.  9th and 10th grade scores were still superior over past years as both classes achieved scores which are the highest in school history.   The 11th grade class recorded the greatest percentage of proficient and above students, and are the single highest performing cohort in the counties of Riverside and San Bernardino.   NBECHS has continued its exellent pass rate on the California High School Exit Exam as well. The 2009/10 CAHSEE results show that NBECHS has again achieved the highest first time pass rate of any high school in Riverside County. “These scores show that our students are achieving in all areas and it is a testament to the hard work put in by the students, their parents, and the staff at NBECHS” , said Jason Fowler, Dean of Instruction, “This is just one more milestone on our path to becoming the best school in the state!” Great work, Knights!!!
